Tell us about your journey into astrology? When I was nine I remember reading that one of my favorite female soccer players shared the same birthday as me. The article said she was an Aquarius. I had no idea what that meant but it always made me enormously proud to be an Aquarian. It was only once I found out about Natal Charts that my interest became an obsession. I studied anything and everything I could about my own chart, and that gave way to me reading my friends chart, eventually my coworkers, and now people around the world!
Which living person do you most admire? Oprah. Not only is she an Aquarius, but she uses her platform for something greater than herself.
What values do you live by? Above all else be true to yourself.
What is your star sign? Aquarius. I am actually a Quadruple Aquarius. Meaning my Sun, Moon, Mercury & Saturn are all in Aquarius.
What are you most passionate about? Using Astrology as a tool for healing and self-improvement.
What are your daily, weekly and monthly rituals? Daily—Starbucks to wake up and tea to go to bed. Weekly—make something homemade. Monthly—exfoliate my entire body, it is so satisfying.
What are your beauty and wellness essentials? For beauty—Avene is the best brand I've found for my overly-sensitive skin, and Dior Lipglow is the perfect lazy-girl-lip-stain. For wellness—Echinecea Tea has helped boost my immune system like crazy and getting close to nature at least once a week helps ground me while living in the city.
Where is your favourite place to escape to? Fire Island.
What is your favourite book? Just Kids by Patti Smith
What is your favourite song? I Found You by Alabama Shakes
What songs do you currently have on repeat? Buddy by Willie Nelson & Hello Walls by Willie Nelson
What is your favourite way to spend a Sunday? A slow day of adulting. Buying groceries, doing laundry, and baking something from scratch. It's funny the activities that you grow to like as you get older.
What is your idea of perfect happiness? These are not my words, but my idea of perfect happiness is that fourth dimension of existence where I'm completely present in the here and now.
What is your life mantra? Be the woman in the arena.
