Fashion Designer Georgia Alice Currie knows what women want

Georgia Alice knows a thing or two about what women want. Her effortless designs have us adding every piece to our mental wish list season after season. Welcoming us into her contemporary Auckland-based studio, we immediately felt at home in the company of  this rising star. She is the perfect reflection of the girl that she designs for - kind hearted, honest, confident and filled with positive vibrations. Her uncanny knack to take a wardrobe essential and spin it on it's head has the global fashion set sitting up and taking notice.

We catch up with Georgia to talk life, style and her latest inspirations.

On her personal style

Simple, easy and always something fancy with something that isn’t.

Advice she would you give to her younger self

Trust your gut always.

On taking care of herself

Massages and hanging with my best friends. I always try to eat three meals a day.

Her perfect day

Starting at 9am, coffee, getting beautiful samples back from the makers, production running smoothly and my team are all happy.

Life lessons she's learnt along the way

Don't let things overwhelm you, try to keep balance, don't check emails after 8pm at night, invest in your best humans, be kind and work hard.
